What is NAIDOC?

NAIDOC celebrations are held around Australia in July each year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week 2010 is held from 4 to 11 July. For more information see About NAIDOC.

How do I enter the National NAIDOC Poster Competition?

The annual National NAIDOC Poster Competition has now closed. Congratulations to Sheree Blackley from Mt Isa Queensland for her winning artwork 'Unsung Heroes - Leading Through Example'. Free copies of 2010 National NAIDOC poster can now be ordered online. NAIDOC posters since the 1970s can be viewed in our poster gallery.

When is the 2010 National NAIDOC poster available?

Copies of the 2010 NAIDOC poster are now available. You can order them online. Posters will be distributed until they run out.

After you request a NAIDOC poster please allow three weeks for delivery. If you do not receive it within three weeks, send a message using our contact us form.

Where can I get promotional NAIDOC items?

NAIDOC stickers, badges and posters may be available at your local Indigenous Coordination Centre (ICC) from May 2010. To be connected to your local ICC call 1800 079 098, except in Nhulunbuy area (call 1800 089 148) Kalgoorlie area (call 1800 193 357) and Kununurra area (call 1800 193 348).

I would like to use the NAIDOC logo for community activities where can I get it?

The NAIDOC logo is available to be downloaded from the website. The logo must be used in its entirety and cannot be used for commercial purposes. Commercial purposes include use of the logo on any promotional material that is used to make a profit.

Your nearest Indigenous Coordination Centre (ICC) may be able to assist with information regarding funding for community NAIDOC activities.
