Are you ready to purchase your tickets?

Tickets for the 2019 National NAIDOC Awards ceremony will go on sale at 11am (AEST) on Thursday 30 May, 2019.
The Awards Ceremony is the premier event on the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Calendar.
To kick off NAIDOC Week, the 2019 National NAIDOC Awards will be announced at a gala black tie ceremony at the National Convention Centre in Canberra. Doors open at 6pm on Saturday 6 July 2019.

The 2019 National NAIDOC award nominations are currently still open!   As part of the National NAIDOC Committee (NNC) I took a moment to reflect on why these awards are so important. Do awards still matter? Does the wider community pay attention to them really?

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
