Mirrabooka NAIDOC Event

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in July each year to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. We invite you to join the Mirrabooka NAIDOC Committee in celebrating NAIDOC Week 2024.

This year's NAIDOC theme is: Keep the Fire Burning. Blak, Loud and Proud!

The Mirrabooka NAIDOC Event is a vibrant and inclusive event that gives our local community the chance to connect through ceremony, entertainment, cultural activities and more. This family friendly event promotes healthy lifestyles and access to a variety of local services. There are activities for all ages and a free sausage sizzle. This year we will also have a quiet area and basketball demos on the new outdoor courts.

This FREE event is proudly drug and alcohol free. Come along and enjoy some deadly tunes and help us celebrate together as one community!

This event is organised by the Mirrabooka NAIDOC Committee, and is proudly supported by the following organisations:
