Donations fund cultural programs that keep First Nations children connected to their cultures, beautiful programs like: Narrun Yana / Art Collective and Art Mentoring Program, a safe space for young people to work together in a creative environment that supports economic independence, as well as professional development opportunities within the arts and cultural sector. Koorie Tiddas Youth Choir, giving voice to Aboriginal girls and young women. build the self-esteem, identity, confidence and resilience of Aboriginal girls and young women through connection to Aboriginal culture and community. The choir is also a lot of fun! Donate to keep this choir empowering Aboriginal girls and young women. Cultural camps and cultural activity days for children and young people in Victoria. The camps and activities are for children in care (foster care, kinship care, residential care or leaving care) or transitioning to leaving care aged from 6 to 20 years old. The children and young people have a wonderful time being immersed in culture and grow up proud and strong. There are opportunities for past participants to become youth leaders in subsequent camps to build their leadership skills and cultural connections. Donating to this program keeps cultural connection and empowerment alive.
