NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to celebrate the significance of our Aboriginal heritage and the important contribution of Canterbury-Bankstown’s Aboriginal population in our community and across our vibrant City.
Our 2025 program of events will celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and heritage; as well as embrace the NAIDOC 2025 theme, yet to be confirmed. It will be a homage to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and their ongoing contributions to communities across the country.
Council’s flagship NAIDOC Family Fun Day event will be held in Paul Keating Park in Bankstown from 10am-3pm on Saturday 5 July. This fun and inclusive event will feature performances from First Peoples artists, workshops, stalls, a free BBQ and more.
Come along and enjoy a great day celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, heritage and history!
