This NAIDOC Week, Our Songlines is teaming up with the Landcare 'Greens Bush to Arthurs Seat Biolink' program to offset the carbon footprint of Our Survival Day (January 26 2023). First Nations values are all about reciprocity and ensuring sustainable pathways for future generations. It is such an important part of the Our Songlines values that we continue to create a future that we can all be proud of for many generations. Our Songlines values are ingrained in protecting Mother Earth, this event has been our most sustainable one yet! The Landcare ‘Greens Bush to Arthurs Seat Biolink’ (GB2AS) is an ongoing project to: improve catchment health, provide landscape connectivity between areas of remnant vegetation, and improve . This decadal program is undertaking extensive revegetation, weeding, and protection of indigenous vegetation across private farmlands that improves farm productivity: biodiversity, the survival chances of rare and endangered flora and fauna, and agricultural productivity. What to bring: BYO hat, reusable cup, gloves, weather appropriate clothes and a water bottle. Landcare will supply all other tools and equipment for tree planting.
