Solid Ground 2024 artists in residence; Shannon Smith aka. 'Monks'(he/him), Luke Patterson(he/him) & Nathan Leslie(he/him) have collaborated to create an immersive experience for this years NAIDOC celebration, following this theme "Keep the Fire Burning; Blak, Loud & Proud"

With both high school and primary students from Alexandria park community school, Chifley college Bidwill, Chifley college Dunheved and Evans high Blacktown working through-out the first two schooling semesters teaching their own individual modes of story telling(weaving, visual arts, poetry) now coming together to showcase their deadly works in a fully immersive and collaborative instillation in the public space of Carriageworks.
With a special addition from a previous artist in residence from our 2020 program, Dennis Golding(he/him).

Opening on the 3rd of July and will be available during opening hours until the 14th of July.
