Celebrate NAIDOC Week at the museum by taking part in free creative workshops from the team at Big Eye Theatre. Join Claude to learn how to weave a fish, fan or ball from palm fronds using traditional Torres Strait Islander weaving techniques. Participants can keep their woven object. Join Sabrina and learn how to work with gum nuts, wooden and glass beads to make your necklace, earrings or bracelet to take home. Workshops are free and do not include admission to the museum All workshops are 45 minutes in duration All materials are supplied Spaces are limited - maximum 25 participants per workshop Workshops are ideal for children aged 6 years and over Book your space early by emailing learning.mtq@qm.qld.gov.au with names and ages of participants
